I read a chapter from the book of Proverbs each morning and today’s proverb really highlighted the chaos and anarchy that is active in our country right now. I believe it is a spiritual problem as much as a societal/political challenge.

Proverbs 30 (MSG version)
1-2 The skeptic swore, “There is no God!
No God!—I can do anything I want!
I’m more animal than human;
so-called human intelligence escapes me.
3-4
“I flunked ‘wisdom.’
I see no evidence of a holy God.
Has anyone ever seen Anyone
climb into Heaven and take charge?
grab the winds and control them?
gather the rains in his bucket?
stake out the ends of the earth?
Just tell me his name, tell me the names of his sons.
Come on now—tell me!”
5-6
The believer replied, “Every promise of God proves true;
he protects everyone who runs to him for help.
So don’t second-guess him;
he might take you to task and show up your lies.”
I really believe that the church and all believers need to actively teaching the wisdom from God’s Word to our children, sharing it with our extended family, sharing it with our neighbors and welcoming in all who have ears to hear to share with them. The signs of these times is evidence that the church has been silent too long and allowed the rock solid moral foundation of God’s Word to be exchanged for an ever-shifting foundation of societal whims and absolute foolishness.
Join me today in praying for the people of our nation, the people of our states, cities and neighborhoods to seek God’s wisdom and His Truths for regaining our spiritual footing and live under His favor. He and His Truths are the same yesterday, today and forever unlike the daily destruction of nearly all morality in our nation. Pray for all of our leaders and judicial system to have God’s wisdom in every decision they make. Our current trajectory is a dangerous one, let’s pray and share His Word to get us back on track with God’s plan for this great nation.
